Celebration draws widespread press coverage

MIT Sloan’s 50th anniversary celebration drew worldwide media attention, as keynote speaker U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan, SF ’72, further articulated his position on how to keep Iraq’s nuclear threat in check.

The celebration also drew press coverage on the United Nation’s Global Compact, which Annan highlighted in his speech, and local TV stations aired footage of the General Motors classic and concept cars on display.
