He has worked in healthcare, telecommunications, and manufacturing.
Kohli is ranked as #1 scholar in health information technology (HIT) thought leadership study of citations during 1992-2013. He is an honorary Fellow of the Cambridge Judge Business School. He has also served as a senior editor for MIS Quarterly.
