Biography
Svetlana Sussman came to Sloan in 1999. She was looking for a challenge, and she was delighted to find it in the multifaceted environment of the MIT Lab for Financial Engineering under entrepreneurial directorship of Professor Andrew W. Lo. A native of St. Petersburg, Russia, she is an accomplished translator and teacher of Russian and a guide to Russian culture, with a background in scientific research and the arts. She graduated from St. Petersburg State University with a M.S. in Chemistry.
