Biography

Rochelle Weichman

Rochelle Weichman is the Associate Dean for Executive Education, responsible for non-degreed executive education at MIT Sloan including all non-degree company-customized and open-enrollment executive programs.

Her prior MIT responsibilities include leading MIT Sloan Executive Education through significant growth, overseeing the one-year residential MIT Sloan Fellows Program in Innovation and Global Leadership and the new MIT Executive MBA, building the MIT Management of Technology Program (now merged with the MIT Sloan Fellows Program), and developing programs to help undergraduates rediscover their creativity and enthusiasm for innovation and entrepreneurship through the UK-based Cambridge-MIT Institute. Prior to joining MIT, Rochelle worked in Boston-area high tech companies, as well as for the U. S. Food & Drug Administration.

Rochelle currently serves as vice chair of the Global University Consortium for Executive Education (UNICON) and on the board of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce Women’s Advisory Network. She is a founding member of the MIT Sloan Diversity and Community Committee and is certified as a mediator by MIT. She earned her MBA at Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts and her Master of Engineering in biomedical engineering at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana.
