Residency, Tuition, and Funding


The Master of Science in Management Studies program requires full-time graduate residency for two semesters (fall and spring). As part of this graduate residency, students can join in the MIT Independent Activities Period (IAP) which occurs in January between fall and spring semesters.


The Master of Science in Management Studies tuition and student activities fee for 2015-2016 school year is $65,750.

In addition, we suggest you research fellowships that you might be eligible for in your home institution or country as well as at MIT (see Fellowships and Scholarships). At MIT, we can recommend the fellowship offered by the MIT Legatum Center for Development and Entrepreneurship if it applies to you. This is a competitive fellowship program for current and incoming MIT graduate students who wish to develop innovative businesses that promote prosperity in the developing world.

The Career Fair is held at MIT Sloan in early April and is a terrific way to network with the many global corporations and organizations in attendance.
