MIT Sloan Action Learning

Global Organizations Lab

GO-Lab, MIT Sloan’s executive-level action learning program, helps international companies solve cross-border management challenges.

GO-Lab teams are composed of 5-6 carefully selected MIT Executive MBA (EMBA) students, averaging 17 years of work experience.

Leveraging their executive experience, MIT’s analytical tool kit, and best practices during an executive advisory engagement, the EMBAs develop a focused set of recommendations for company leadership teams. Each GO-Lab project team spends approximately 6 months on the project and one week in field research at one or more company sites worldwide. Each team is mentored by a senior MIT Sloan faculty member.

What Executive Project Sponsors Have to Say

“Some of the observations make me wonder if you have been shadowing Delphi longer than these past six months…This level of insight is exactly what [we had] hoped for… As you know, we at Delphi Packard define “Excellence” as “Exceeding Our Customers’ Expectations.” Using that definition, your work here is truly Excellent!”
-Chris Burns, Engineering Director, North America DEEDS, Delphi Packard
“The team’s report blew me away. Their diagnostic was detailed and opened our minds. It gives us tools to make decisions. I would definitely work with MIT Sloan teams again and I highly recommend it.”
-Ricardo Leyva, CEO, Sístole (Colombia)
