It wasn't easy creating a floating mobile office. Preparations for the cover shot began weeks in advance of our photo shoot. First, we hunted for a boat stable enough to support a desk and office equipment. Our solution came in the form of a uniquely designed kayak called the Wavewalk. Armed with this “untippable" water craft, we then customized the desk surface, using two beverage coolers for additional work space and stability. Lastly, we found this bucolic location in Acton, Mass., the ideal spot for our “connected" executive to try and get away from it all.
