  • London Finance Forum

Nearly 150 MIT Sloan alumni and guests gathered in London on June 13, 2013 for the second MIT Sloan Finance Forum (the first was held in New York in April 2012). Attendees participated in a day-long series of talks and discussions with the School’s finance faculty and other experts. Speakers included MIT Sloan faculty members: Stewart Myers, Robert Merton, Andrew Lo, Antoinette Schoar, and Andrei Kirilenko. Additional speakers throughout the day included MIT Sloan Master of Finance Program Director Heidi Pickett, Gillian Tett, Markets and Finance Commentator and Assistant Editor of Financial Times, Patrik Edsparr PhD ’94, Co-founder, Tor Investment Management UK, LLP, Sadeq Sayeed SM’85, Chairman of Metage Capital Limited, and Andre Stern, Founding Partner and Principal of OxFORD Asset Management. The Finance Forums provide our alumni with unique lifelong learning opportunities in cities around the world, a chance to remain connected to the School by learning about new MIT Sloan programs and initiatives related to finance and hear from faculty about their current research. The next Finance Forum will be held in Shanghai on July 19.
