Reunion Weekend offers MIT Sloan alumni a special opportunity to connect with classmates and members of the MIT Sloan community while providing social, networking, and lifelong learning programming throughout the 4-day event.
Reunion Committee volunteers help get the word out about Reunion to increase attendance, plan a few class-specific events during the Weekend, and encourage participation in the Reunion Class Gift. How can I make a gift to MIT Sloan in honor of my reunion?
Easily! Please go to http://giving.mit.edu/sloangift and select the MIT Sloan Reunion Gift Fund, which supports the MIT Sloan Annual Fund. Make your gift between July 1, 2014 and June 30, 2015, in order for your gift to count towards your class gift goal. Thank you for your valuable support of MIT Sloan.
When will I receive my registration information?
Alumni celebrating a reunion will receive a mailing in late March 2015 with registration information. Alumni will be able to register online at that time.
What is the cost to attend Reunion?
Reunion cost is à la carte; you pay for what you want to attend. Workshops and Faculty sessions, are free of charge. The sessions that have a cost are meals, including the Class Dinner. Some class specific sessions may have a charge, but that is determined by the reunion class committee. You will see the breakdown of prices once you register.
Do we have special hotel pricing for Reunion?

How can I locate a classmate?
You can use the online Alumni Directory. While you're logged in, you can also check and update your own personal information.
I am having trouble logging into the MIT Sloan alumni pages. Can you help?
You do not need to log in to register for the weekend. However, to see your Class Pages (includes information such as Class Specific Events and Who is Attending) you must log in using your @sloan.mit.edu account. Can I change my class year?
Yes. In order to change your MIT Sloan preferred class year affiliation, please send an email requesting this change to email@example.com. Once your record has been updated you will ONLY receive information for the new class year.
Does MIT Sloan provide any child care services?
MIT Alumni Association offers a youth program, Kid Tech, for children ages 6–12. Babysitting services are also available through Care.com, a local childcare provider. More information will be available in March 2015 when registration opens. *Please note, Kid Tech registrations will close mid-May.
What events are children welcome to attend?
We welcome and encourage children to attend Reunion Weekend. However, there are a few events that do not have kid-friendly activities. Those include: Back to the Classroom Sessions, Class Dinners, and the Alumni C-function. Highly recommended events for children include: Kid Tech, Boston Duck Tour, Fenway Park Tour, and MIT Sloan Family Barbecue.
What should I wear?
The general dress code for the weekend is business casual. However, for your class dinners you may prefer semi-formal attire.
Will I be able to attend Commencement?
Alumni in the 50th reunion class can march in Commencement and bring one guest, who will be seated separately. Please visit the Commencement page for more details. All other alumni and guests can watch the proceedings by video broadcast on campus.
Will I be able to access the Internet while on campus?
Yes, when you are on campus, you can select the MIT WiFi server ‘MIT Guest.’ It will not ask for credentials.
How can I get around campus?
Reunion Weekend is hosted on the Sloan/East Side of the MIT campus. The majority of the events and workshops are held in building E62, Joan and William A. Porter 1967 Center for Management Education, get directions here. Other useful maps are the interactive campus map, printable campus map, and campus-area bike map.
Will I be able to park on campus?
There will be limited parking available on Thursday and Friday morning in select lots on the east side of campus. Parking will be available Friday afternoon through Sunday with no restrictions. Passes will be made available prior to Reunion Weekend with an email confirmation and at the on-site registration/check-in area during the weekend.
Is there a way to get around campus?
The MIT Tech Shuttle will be available to all alumni and guests throughout the weekend. Shuttles are white mini-buses and will be identified with electronic signs. Each vehicle can accommodate two wheelchairs in addition to other passengers. Shuttles will stop across from the Marriott at the Red Line - Kendall Square T stop and Building E51 (on the corner of Wadsworth and Amherst, across from E62 parking lot).
What access is there for the disabled?
Most of the MIT campus is accessible to the disabled community, and a detailed map is available indicating all ramps, elevators, and bathrooms. Please visit: Campus accessibility map. If you or a member of your family requires accommodations for a disability, please contact MIT Disability Services at 617-253-1674.
Where can I pick up my Pops tickets?
Tickets for Tech Night at Pops will be distributed at registration/check-in on Thursday, June 4 until 4:00 p.m. If you are not able to pick up your Pops tickets by 4:00 p.m. they will be sent to Symphony Hall for pick up beginning at 7:00 p.m. The performance begins at 8:00 p.m. sharp. Symphony Hall ushers will seat latecomers during the first convenient pause in the program. Symphony Hall does not allow children under the age of five to attend performances, and tickets are required for all patrons regardless of age.
What is the dress code for Tech Night at Pops and Class Dinner?
Dress code for the Pops and Class Dinner is smart casual or better. Those celebrating their 50th reunion and members of the Cardinal and Gray Society are encouraged to wear their red jackets.
