Class of 1954

More than 700 MIT Sloan alumni, family members, and friends came together at Reunion 2004 in June to reminisce and celebrate common bonds. The alumni spanned 11 classes and hailed from 22 countries. Total attendance marked the largest in MIT Sloan's history.

Alumni energy, ideas, and spirit made reunion a great success.

The MIT Sloan spirit was evident among the Class of 1954 attendees. Several class members marched in commencement to mark the 50th reunion. Class members also met for a class dinner Saturday evening at the MIT Faculty Club. And they were well represented at the Dean's Luncheon, the Back-to-the-Classroom sessions, and the other reunion events.

The class graciously offered financial support to MIT Sloan and MIT: $19,445, contributed from 48 percent of the class members — much appreciated support for MIT Sloan's efforts to advance the practice of management.

Thanks especially go to members of the 1954 Class Reunion Committee, who gave their time and energy to help make Reunion 2004 such a great experience.
