Class of 1956

Dear Class of 1956,
More than 700 MIT Sloan alumni, family members, and friends came together at Reunion 2006 in June to reminisce and celebrate common bonds. The alumni spanned 12 classes and hailed from 23 countries.

Alumni energy, ideas, and spirit made reunion a great success.

The MIT Sloan spirit was evident among the Class of 1956 attendees. On Saturday, they met for a class dinner in the MIT faculty Club with the current MIT Sloan Dean Richard Schmalensee, Prof. Jay Forrester, and his wife. And class members were well represented at the Dean's Luncheon, the Back-to-the-Classroom sessions, and the other reunion events.

The class also graciously offered financial support to MIT Sloan and MIT: $675, contributed from 31 percent of the class members — much appreciated support for MIT Sloan's efforts to advance the practice of management.

Thanks especially go to members of the 1956 Class Reunion Committee, who gave their time and energy to help make Reunion 2006 such a great experience.

Best Regards,

Your Class Reunion Committee
