MIT Tech Night at the Pops, Symphony Hall

For 112 years now, Tech Night at the Pops has been one of the most beloved traditions at the Institute. Join generations of MIT alumni, guests, graduating students, and their families for an exclusive concert of timeless classics, contemporary hits, and a rousing rendition of our alma mater, “In Praise of MIT”.

Shuttle bus service to and from Symphony Hall will be provided. Tech Night at the Pops is an annual tradition that you won’t want to miss. Please note that children under the age of five are not permitted to attend Boston Pops concerts.

Launch your reunion celebration by attending a traditional MIT Sloan Consumption Function with all returning classes. Begun in the late 1970s by the student-led Graduate Management Society, C-Functions continue to be held weekly both on and off campus. For reunion weekend we continue the tradition, but will include select wines, beers and fine hors d'oeuvres.

Back to the Classroom sessions offer you the chance to reconnect with MIT Sloan faculty and to learn about the latest developments in their fields of expertise. This is a unique opportunity to update your MIT Sloan education.

Join all returning alumni and former MIT Sloan deans for a luncheon with Dean David Schmittlein. The dean will give his annual State of the School update. Lunch tables will be arranged by class year to allow you to interact and catch up with classmates.

7:00 - 11:00 p.m.

Class-Specific Dinner Celebrations

Celebrate the MIT Sloan legacy with your classmates and a member of the faculty at a private dinner arranged by your class committee.

Behind Walker Memorial

Bring your family to enjoy a traditional BBQ provided by Smokey's Longhorn BBQ of Stoneham. Along with great food, we have many fun activities planned for kids of all ages: carnival games, arts and crafts, toddler town, and much more! Vegetarian meals will also be available. This family event is a great way to wrap up a fun-filled weekend.
