On-Campus Interview Schedules

The number of students interviewed per schedule/room (one schedule = one room) depends on the length of the interview. Choose the appropriate schedule based on the number of students you want to interview and your desired interview length.

Interview Length Interviews per schedule Start/End Time

45 min. 9 8:15 a.m. – 4:15 p.m.
60 min. 6 8:30 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.
30 min. back-to-back * 12 (minimum two interviewers) 8:30 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.
45 min. back-to-back * 10 (minimum two interviewers) 8:00 a.m. – 4:45 p.m.

* Back-to-back schedules allow a student to have two consecutive interviews, one directly after another, with two different recruiters from your firm. Two rooms must be reserved for back-to-back interviews.

Invite Only Schedules

In an Invite Only schedule, the company provides a list of pre-selected candidates to interview. To identify candidates, select from student-submitted cover letters and resumes beginning September 15, 2014 for full-time recruiting and December 1, 2014 for summer internship recruiting. You may also select students from our Resume Databases. Please note: for summer internship recruiting, we require at least 25% of your interview slots be Open for Bid only if your firm has more than one interview schedule per job opportunity (see Open for Bid Schedules, below).

Open for Bid Schedules

For full-time recruiting, Open for Bid schedules are available only by request.

For summer internship recruiting, we require at least 25% of your interview slots be Open for Bid only if your firm has more than one interview schedule per job opportunity.

In an Open for Bid schedule, interview slots are allocated to students through a computerized point system that guarantees priority to the candidates most interested in your openings. Remaining open slots may be made available, at the company's request, on a first-come first-served basis to any interested students. All students who sign up for an Open for Bid interview schedule must meet the mandatory requirements specified in your job description.

Finalized Interview Schedules

The Career Development Office will e-mail the primary company contact an interview schedule no later than two business days before your interview date.

Job Postings

Each year, almost 1000 jobs — full-time, summer, and part-time — are advertised postings on MIT Sloan's electronic Career Central Job Posting site. If your job posting draws a significant number of qualified candidates, we would be happy to arrange interviews for your firm on campus.

Job Descriptions

Providing us with well-defined job description is critical to the success of your recruiting efforts (see the Job Description Guidelines).

MIT Sloan Career Fair

The annual CDO-sponsored Career Fair provides you with an opportunity to network informally and hold one-on-one interviews with students. Past fairs featured companies from the technology, consulting, healthcare, consumer products and financial services industries. Typically these events draw 15-20 firms and more than 100 students. Our next Career Fair will be held April, 2015.

MBA Career Days

MBA Career Days runs a series of recruitment events that are focused on specific candidate profiles, industries or regions to connect top MBA students and alumni with quality employers, worldwide.
