Constantine Kazakos has many years of experience in the fields of operational excellence, business process management, IT management, and strategy. He is currently the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Reznick Group, a public accounting and consulting company headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland.
He also has vast corporate and international experience having worked in executive positions at IBM and Xerox. At Xerox he directed a $220M worldwide restructuring and reengineering initiative that helped pull Xerox from bankruptcy. He also served as the CIO for Xerox's Hong Kong, China, India, and Russia operations. In addition, as part of Mayor Rudolph Giuliani's effort to reengineer the public sector, Constantine managed the New York City restructuring project for the Department of Health. He received the Xerox President's Award for Extraordinary Services for this accomplishment.
He also has extensive consulting experience as a principal with Rational Initiatives Consulting and as managing consultant with James Martin Associates and Ernst & Young in numerous countries and in all continents.
Constantine is on the Board of Advisors for Atlas Island Media, a company offering interactive online training, and for Rational Initiatives Consulting an Operational Excellence consulting company.
He has an MA in economics and holds certificates from several universities. He is also a member of the following associations and organizations: the Institute of Management Consultants, professional association and certifying body dedicated to promoting excellence and ethics in management consulting; the Business Process Management Group, a global business organization exchanging ideas and best practice in business process and change management; the Global Benchmarking Council — Best Practices, LLC, a research program providing executives with real-life winning tactics, best practices, proven solutions, innovation and trends; and the American — Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, a professional association promoting business between the U.S. and Greece. Constantine is a frequent speaker for the American Strategic Management Institute and the International Quality and Productivity Center.
