Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership
Carlo Rossi began his career as a sales manager over twenty-five years ago. Working with information technology and telecommunications companies. After many great years, he started a new career as an IT governance and management consultant. Carlo has found this to be the most rewarding field for him, on both a personal and professional level. He is currently the managing director of a small consulting business, CRConsultingnet, based in Rome, Italy. The company has a duel focus — helping big and medium sized companies achieve IT compliancy with local and international laws and regulations (i.e. SOX, Basel2, Data Privacy, etc.), and providing Sales Management Consulting to start-ups and medium companies so they can set up, maintain, and train sales teams in the B2B markets. Currently, the company is working on IT governance management consulting and has started to deliver information security awareness related training programs for IT users with non-IT specific skills.
Carlo decided to attend MIT Sloan Executive Education programs in order to gain a fresh perspective on management practices. He found system dynamics to be particularyly useful, providing an entirely new approach to managing business situations. “Enrolling in the MIT Sloan Executive Education programs was the best training choice of my whole professional life. I went home with a host of brand new management tools and frameworks that were useful from the very first day back. The experience showed me how rewarding a life-long learning approach can be at any age. I know I am not done with my learning experiences at MIT.” He continues, “Since I've been home, I have developed a new approach to my current activities using the knowledge I gained at MIT. My partners and the management team have enthusiastically welcomed the new perspectives and methodologies that I brought back. I'm also happy to say I've noticed that the market seems to be responding very positively to the new direction of the company.”
Carlo is currently on course to complete the Executive Certificate in Strategy and Innovation and the Executive Certificate in Technology, Operations, and Value Chain Management.
