Lecturer, Managerial Communication
Terence Heagney is a Lecturer in Managerial Communication at the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Heagney is an expert source on managerial communication. At MIT Sloan, he has taught undergraduate managerial communication since 2002 and MBA managerial communications since 2005. Prior to MIT Sloan, he was corporate vice president for external affairs for Houghton Mifflin Company, where he was in charge of media relations, government relations, and all corporate communications. Heagney served on the board of the Huntington Theatre from 2000 to 2002, and spent a number of years acquiring, developing, and marketing college textbooks for Prentice Hall, Prindle, Weber & Schmidt, and Houghton Mifflin.
Heagney holds an AB in English literature from Harvard University and a PhD in English from Boston College.
