Visiting Assistant Professor of Accounting
Emanuel Zur is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Accounting at the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Zur is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Baruch College, City University of New York, and also served as Adjunct Assistant Professor at the NYU Stern School of Business and at Columbia Business School.
Zur’s research examines the economic impact of hedge fun activism in both the stock and bond market. His research also examines whether and how the financial reporting affects the course of the M&A process.
Prior to entering academia, Zur worked as a consultant for E&Y and as a lawyer for one of the leading law firms in Israel.
He holds an LLB in law and a BA in economics from Tel-Aviv University in Israel, as well as an MPhil in management, and a PhD in business administration (accounting) from the Stern School of Business, New York University.
