MIT Sloan regrets the passing of Visiting Associate Professor Heikki Rantakari and offers condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues.

Heikki Rantakari was a Visiting Associate Professor of Applied Economics at the MIT Sloan School of Management.

His research interests were in applied microeconomic theory and organizational economics. He was particularly interested in models of decision-making in organizations and organizational structures.

Rantakari held a BSc in economics from LSE and a PhD in economics from MIT.
