Center for Energy & Environmental Policy Research

Established in 1977, the Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research (CEEPR) carries out research on energy and environmental policy to inform decision making by government and industry. It draws on resources from the Sloan School of Management, the Department of Economics, and the MIT Energy Initiative to provide independent, data-driven analysis on policy issues related to coal, oil, gas and electricity, nuclear power, transport, infrastructure, investment finance and risk management, as well as the multiple environmental dimensions of energy generation, distribution and use.
