MIT Sloan is collaborating with the top two Portuguese business schools as they launch a brand-new, full-time MBA program based in Lisbon.
The prestigious Universidade Católica Portuguesa and Universidade Nova de Lisboa are working closely with MIT Sloan in The Lisbon MBA Full-Time Program, a one-year MBA based in the romantic Portuguese capital. Students receive a joint MBA degree from Católica and Nova, as well as a certificate from MIT.
The Lisbon MBA Full-Time Program enhances the internationalization of both Católica and Nova, while also contributing to MIT Sloan's collaborations with leading institutions to strengthen management education around the world.
The Lisbon MBA Full-Time Program is designed to prepare innovative leaders capable of responding to opportunities and challenges in today's business world. The intense curriculum promises to hone managers' abilities to think creatively about complex situations, successfully lead teams, and drive change in the global economy.
The Program's launch was celebrated in the month of January 2009, with the support of the Portuguese Prime Minister, José Socrates, and numerous corporate partners and foundations. The collaboration was announced the previous year.
Students of The Lisbon MBA benefit from the combined resources, faculty, and expertise of Católica|Nova and MIT Sloan, while gaining a unique management education focused on interpersonal and leadership skills.
