I came to MIT to become an entrepreneur. So far, I only have a bunch an ideas and I should call myself a "voyeur entrepreneur," observing and learning from the amazing entrepreneurial ecosystem from MIT. My plan is to have fun, learn and find a team with similar interests to start a company during this year. And MIT is a good place to find motivated people smarter than I am :-)

Kimberly Rescigno is a first year MBA Candidate who worked in Business Development in the consumer packaged goods industry prior to coming to Sloan. She is a member of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Track and will participate in the MIT 100K Business Plan Competition. She graduated from Boston University with a B.A. in Psychology and a B.S. in Communication. In her free time, Kim enjoys improv comedy, movies, trying new cuisines, and ice-skating.

Malaika Thorne was born in Hato Rey, Puerto Rico, and raised mainly in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She has lived and worked in the Greater Boston Metropolitan Area since 2000 and holds an bachelor's degree from Brown University. Malaika was a co-founder of an arts non-profit, a researcher, content producer, editor, educator, poet, Web and database developer, entrepreneur, painter, and project manager before joining the Sloan community, and she is still an enthusiastic fund raiser for the Build A School in Africa Project and the Andrea Harvey Memorial Fund.
