MIT Demo Day is back. On Friday, Sept. 9, 17 student teams will unveil companies you could be hearing about for years to come.

The event caps off the 2016 MIT Global Founders’ Skills Accelerator, which since 2012 has provided equity-free funding, living expenses, desk space, and mentorship to promising startups being founded at MIT.

Register free to attend the 2016 Global Founders’ Skills Accelerator Demo Day from 4-7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 9 at Kresge Auditorium on the MIT campus. HubSpot co-founder and CTO Dharmesh Shah, SF ’06, will be the keynote speaker.

The event is part of t=0, an MIT entrepreneurship festival that runs Sept. 8-16.

Graduates of previous years of the program include: Infinite Analytics, which provides predictive analytics for online retail companies; LiquiGlide, which created a nonstick coating for condiment bottles and other containers; AvaTech, which built a crowdsourced approach to assessing snowpack and avalanche danger; and AccionSystems, makers of a small satellite propulsion system.
