  • New Dimensions in Action Learning Conference

    On January 7, 2015 the MIT Sloan Latin America Office and MIT Sloan Office of International Programs, in collaboration with Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez and Ponticifia Universidad Católica de Chile, presented the New Dimensions in Action Learning Conference: Applying Theory to Entrepreneurial Practice. The conference brought together prominent academics, practitioners, and business leaders to discuss insights into:
     
    1. Defining the Action Learning Model
    2. Action Learning's impact on students, emerging markets and the region
    3. Action Learning's contribution to entrepreneurship and innovation
    4. How businesses create opportunity and benefit from the Action Learning Model
    The day of learning included four panel discussions, a keynote presentation given by Jose Miguel Benavente, Chief of the Innovation and Competitiveness Division at the Inter-American Development Bank, and an evening reception with networking opportunities.
