Prof. Steve GravesSteve Graves has been named a POMS (Production and Operations Management Society) Fellow. Each year at most two OM researchers are recognized for their exceptional contributions to the Operations Management profession and the Society through their research and teaching.


New book published by Don Rosenfield, Director of LGO Fellows Program

Don Rosenfield, Director of the LGO Fellows Program, has co-authored a new book with Professor Sara Beckman of UCAL-Berkeley.

Operations Strategy: Competing in the 21st Century is published by McGraw Hill. It addresses the basic decisions operations leaders must address regarding vertical integration, capacity, facilities, process technology, infomation technology, sourcing, business process management, capabilities development and supply chain integration.

The book integrates strategic considerations with analytical models, providing a comprehensive view of these critical decisions and the tools used to help make them. The authors' themes and conclusions are based on recent research, particularly from LGO.

Prof. Steven EppingerProfessor Steven D. Eppinger was awarded the Product Innovation and Technology Management College of the Production and Operations Management Society 2006 Award of Distinguished Fellow.
