MIT Libraries

The MIT Sloan community has access to the Institute's extensive library system, which includes five major libraries (including one focused on management and social sciences), five smaller specialized libraries, and the Institute Archives.

The Libraries have 2.6 million printed volumes, 17,000 journal subscriptions, a digital collection of MIT theses, 325 online databases, and more than 3800 electronic journals licensed for access on the MIT network. The Libraries offer an array of research assistance options, including data and GIS services. Also available is DSpace, a digital repository created to preserve the intellectual output of researchers at MIT.
