About
Kelly Becker is the Assistant Director at the MIT Regional Entrepreneurship Acceleration Program (MIT REAP) where she manages the new Focus Programs and engages with regional leaders to implement strategies that support their regional innovation-driven entrepreneurial ecosystems.
Kelly joined MIT Sloan Global Programs in 2021. Previously, she has been a leader within one of the world's most valuable startups, where she was a regional operations manager for technology at WeWork in New York City. In this role, she managed a team of direct reports both co-located and internationally based. Her team developed, managed, and executed a variety of projects impacting hundreds of employees.
Prior to joining the startup world, she worked in the Innovation Lab and the Office of the CEO and Founder at Under Armour in Baltimore. She has collaborated with CTOs, and coached entrepreneurs who have appeared on ABC’s Shark Tank, the Forbes 30 Under 30 list, and partnered with students and faculty across the country.
Kelly holds a Bachelor's in history from Ursinus College and is an NCAA National Champion field hockey player. A passionate life-long learner, she has earned a Master's in organizational management from Misericordia University and a Master's of Technology Entrepreneurship from the A. James Clark School of Engineering at the University of Maryland.
