Jenifer Marshall helps to develop the Student Life Office’s strategic vision for management of the MIT Sloan Senate and clubs, engaging students from all graduate programs at the school. She oversees Senate and club processes, including governance and oversight, finances, elections, and electronic presence. She also oversees student initiatives such as conferences and treks.
Jenifer collaborates with program staff to produce programming for anchor experiences including AdMIT days, Orientation, and Commencement. She also works with program staff as well as affinity clubs to recruit, enroll, and engage students from diverse populations and contributes to the office’s efforts to create and sustain an inclusive student community. She provides personal advising, crisis support, and leadership coaching to MIT Sloan students.
Prior to joining MIT Sloan in 2009, Jenifer worked at the Boston Architectural College. She is a licensed mental health counselor and the mother of a very tall 13-year-old boy. She loves reading, seeing art of all kinds, traveling anywhere, and going to hear loud rock bands.
