Katie Ferrari works with the Student Life, Program, and Shared Services Offices to guide MIT Sloan students in designing and delivering major events. She oversees student conferences and case competitions and supports multiple objectives for these events, including student learning and development, content quality, fiscal responsibility, risk management, and mission alignment. She also helps to advise students on an individual basis.
Prior to joining MIT Sloan, Katie worked at Root Capital, an international NGO that provides access to credit, markets, and financial advisory services to small and growing businesses in Latin America and Africa. She also spent three years managing student services at the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies at Harvard University. Katie holds a B.A. in romance languages and literatures from Harvard College and an M.A. in Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University.
