From time to time we could all use some connection, inspiration, and guidance in our effort to make a better world. The Sustainability Initiative at MIT Sloan forms a passionate and engaged alumni community that challenges participants to lead and innovate for a more sustainable world.
Through regular alumni activities we harness the insights, ideas, experience and resources of our alumni, fostering a world-class sustainability network for current and future students. Throughout the year we host events that connect alumni of MIT Sloan’s sustainability programs and the wider MIT alumni community such as:
- Reunions: Each year at reunion, the Sustainability Initiative hosts alumni anels, “back to the classroom” sessions with faculty, and psocial gatherings for alumni leaders in sustainability. Come to reunion and join our events by emailing.
- Breakfasts: These alumni-led events give attendees the chance to learn from one another’s experiences and practice skills essential to sustainability leadership. Become a part of this community of innovators, attend a breakfast or start a breakfast series in your region. To join, email.
- Webinars: Dive into some of sustainability’s most pressing issues, connect with fellow alumni and world-class faculty, and explore research and practice related to topics such as Buildings and Efficiency, Sustainability and Your Supply Chain, and Improving Job Quality. To become part of the conversation, contact us.
- On-Campus Events: Our Initiative gathers a broad community of leaders, academics, and practitioners at events such as MIT Sustainability Summit and the MIT Sloan Sustainability Lunch Series. Explore some of the most pressing sustainability issues and help define the answers; to attend, email us.
Our alumni network building would not happen without the active leadership of alumni organizers. We support alumni in organizing events in their region and topic of interest.
