There are abundant career opportunities for students who graduate from our program — in the Boston area, across the country, and around the world.
Many recent graduates of the program now work for consulting firms, commercial and investment banks, financial and investment service organizations, and high-tech firms. Most are financial analysts, consultants, software engineers, portfolio analysts, or new product managers.
The MIT Careers Office hosts many company presentations and sets up recruiting schedules for the companies to interview students. Most MIT Sloan undergrads take advantage of the many resources at the Careers Office to identify and contact the companies they join after graduation.
The average starting base salary for recent classes has been between $55,000 and $70,000 (not including bonuses).
