What makes MIT Sloan exceptional is the exposure to excellent minds. I am impressed by the professional and personal accomplishments of my classmates, the strong alumni network that is active both here and abroad, and the School's reputation as being quantitatively oriented — an aspect that is increasingly important as financial markets and instruments are becoming more sophisticated and transactions increasingly complex. These qualities, combined with the many positive impressions of MIT Sloan alumni whom I've had the privilege of working with in the past, were the driving factors behind my decision to choose MIT Sloan.
The most educational experience for me thus far was not any specific class but rather working with my team: going through the difficulties of the core program together, not leaving another behind, and supporting each other on both the academic and personal fronts regardless of whether it is six at night or two in the morning.
Because MIT Sloan is one of the top business programs in the United States, its students are targeted by potential employers both here and abroad. I am currently applying for summer internships in financial services in the United States and in Europe. I have found the MIT Sloan alumni network to be far reaching not only in the financial services industry in general, but also in terms of my specific areas of interest.
