Abstract
Environmental management had been an important facet at IBM dating back to the 1970s. The case describes the company’s efforts in creating and managing sustainable practices.
Learning Objective
To expose students to a state-of-the-art environmental management system, enabling them to explore exactly how such a system is built and maintained; and speculate as to the skills and processes that might be required to create one from scratch.
