Turkey

In September 2011, the Sabanci University Faculty of Management (Sabanci FMAN) and the MIT Sloan School of Management began collaborating to increase Sabanci FMAN's academic reputation and industry outreach in Turkey and the region. Through this partnership, MIT Sloan exposes its faculty to interesting developments and challenges globally, and deepens its ties with a worldwide academic community.

Each spring, up to 45 EMBA students from Sabanci FMAN spend approximately 2 weeks at MIT Sloan learning about the U.S. business environment and participating in the Global Business Project. This project, which is part of Sabanci FMAN's Globalization course, includes company site visits in the Boston area, lectures by MIT Sloan faculty, and a potential project with MIT Sloan's Leadership Center.

Sabanci FMAN faculty participate as International Faculty Fellows. MIT Sloan also shares its experience with Sabanci FMAN in areas of academic administration such as marketing, student services, admissions, and career development.
