Graduate & Family Housing

MIT's graduate residence halls, located within a short walk of campus, are likewise shaped by their residents to be vibrant, collaborative places that meet the distinct needs of graduate students and families. We have a variety of options available for both single students and students with families.

Benefits of living on campus

Choosing where you'll live is a big decision. Here are a few reasons to consider living at MIT:

  • The main campus and most labs are a short walk or bike ride away from our graduate residences. Not sure about the weather? There are shuttle bus stops near all of the graduate buildings to help you get from one end of campus to the other.

  • Be a part of the graduate community and make lasting connections! You'll have opportunities to get involved in your residential community, as well as campus activities and all they have to offer.

  • On-campus rental costs include utilities such as electricity, heat, and hot water. Internet access is also included and all of our residence halls offer wi-fi and ethernet connections.

Still want to consider living off campus? We can help you with that too! Visit http://mitoffcampus.com for rental listings and resources to help you with your search.
