Support for Our Students
In addition to these efforts to enable on-campus learning and community, we have identified supplemental ways to support our students in this challenging moment.
- Through support from our generous alumni community, we have created an Immediate Needs fund to assist MIT Sloan-administered professional master’s degree program students who have suffered financial hardship as a result of COVID-19. With questions about how to apply for assistance, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
- We will offer expanded teaching assistant opportunities to students across programs to support our new modes of teaching and learning this year.
- MIT Sloan is devoting additional resources to community engagement and professional development needs this year, including through the reduction of costs associated with school-sponsored events.
- We are holding tuition rates steady at 2019-2020 rates, rather than increasing them as previously planned.
We are pleased to share that MIT Sloan's plan for the 2020-2021 academic year accommodates hybrid teaching models. This ensures that our international students will be able to satisfy their visa requirements.
We understand that there are still challenges associated with getting visas. Many embassies continue to be closed. If you are not able to be here in person at the start of the semester, please be assured that you will be able to join us virtually until you are able to obtain your visa.
