Marco de Paula

As an Assistant Director at MIT Sloan Global Programs, Marco manages international programs and partnerships, specifically the newly signed agreement with the University of Naples Parthenope, and continues to support collaborations in China (Tsinghua and Fudan), Lisbon (Catolica and Nova), Australia (Queensland University of Technology), as well as the Visiting Fellows program.

Marco serves as the point of contact for program partners and promotes cross-program collaboration while improving communication and efficiency in logistics, including program budgets and event schedules. His extensive experience with visa applications allows him to maintain departmental compliance with visa policies and procedures while successfully onboarding international scholars and/or visiting faculty.

Before joining the Global Programs department, Marco worked at the MIT Brazil Program following several years at the General Consulate of Brazil in Boston.

Marco holds a BA in political science with a minor in international relations from the University of Massachusetts Boston.
