Paul Denning develops and manages the overall media relations program for the MIT Sloan School. This includes managing all aspects of media queries, interviews, and preparation of news releases for promotion of MIT Sloan story lines. He interacts directly with the deans’ office on broad public affairs issues and crisis communication responses. He has developed and provides media training to faculty, students and administrators.
Prior to joining MIT Sloan in 1998, Denning was Director of Communications at Pine Street Inn, Boston, New England’s largest homeless shelter. He also worked at the Boston NBC affiliate WHDH-TV, in the Public Relations Department.
Denning has a B.A. degree in Political Science from Union College, Schenectady, NY and an M.A. in Government from Harvard University Extension School, Cambridge, MA.
