Brand Guidelines

Co-branding

MIT Sloan is proud to be MIT’s school of management. As an endorsed brand of the Institute, our visual identity is both unique and aligned with MIT. Co-branding opportunities allow you to leverage the MIT Sloan design system while meeting the different needs of your organization and audiences.

When following the co-branding guidelines, the MIT Sloan Office of Communications will create your logo at no charge and provide you with the appropriate files. Do not build your own logos. Contact us to request a sub-brand logo.

PROGRAMS AND OFFICES

Logos for programs and offices replace “Sloan School” with the name of the specific program or office. These logos are available from the Office of Communications if you need them.

CENTERS AND INITIATIVES

For centers and initiatives, you must follow the MIT Sloan or the Institute branding guidelines. The MIT Sloan Office of Communications will create your logo at no charge and provide you with the appropriate files.  Do not build your own logos.

Contact us to request a sub-brand logo. Our team is currently working with Institute Communications Initiatives to ensure MIT Sloan affiliated centers and initiatives adhere to the university brand architecture.

STUDENT CLUBS AND ORGANIZATIONS

To maintain the presence of the MIT Sloan brand, student club logos must include “MIT Sloan” in either the selected font or through the use of the MIT Sloan logo (unaltered)
and the word “Club.”

The MIT Sloan Office of Communications and MIT Sloan Student Life Office offer a suite of tools and resources to help student groups brand and market events, including boilerplate language & required standardized logo templates. Access to these links is through the sloangroups platform and limited to the MIT Sloan community. Please refer to https://sloangroups.mit.edu/studentlife/publicity-marketing

For branded merchandise using the school's logo, you will need to submit designs to student-merch@mit.edu.

Please allow 3-5 business days for approval.
