• Optional Concentrations

    Students are able to complete one of three available concentrations: capital markets, corporate finance or financial engineering. Completing a concentration is optional and is not a degree requirement. Students are only allowed to complete ONE concentration.

    The concentration requirements are in addition to the MFin degree requirements. Courses counted toward your MFin degree requirements may not be counted toward your concentration.

    *Students in the financial engineering concentration may count 2 of the concentration required courses (excluding 15.455 and 15.S13) toward their MFin degree requirements.
    **15.470 Introduction to Financial Economics can be taken in place of 15.456 Financial Engineering.
