    MIT Sloan has a rich history of global engagement. Our collaborations with organizations, universities, and government agencies help shape the perspective and knowledge of thoughtful leaders throughout the world and enrich our work at home on campus.

    Global Programs has engagements across more than 40 regions. Our global reach reflects the School’s emphasis on learning by doing and deep commitment to making a positive impact in the world through the knowledge we create and share. The breadth and depth of our global relationships range from formal partner programs with academic and research institutions in key regions around the world to academic and industry conferences, action learning projects, and other ventures that facilitate cross-cultural idea sharing. MIT Sloan draws on its international convening power to bring thought leaders together to impact global management practices and improve the world.

    MIT-China Management Education Project Celebrates 20th Anniversary

    The MIT Sloan School of Management celebrated the 20th anniversary of the MIT-China Management Education Project on Oct. 15 in Hong Kong. Deans from the participating partner schools Fudan University, Lingnan (University) College at Sun Yat-sen University, Tsinghua University, and Yunnan University were among those who attended the commemorative dinner at the Four Seasons Hotel.

    MIT Sloan Latin America Office

    In addition to our main office on the MIT Sloan campus in Cambridge, we develop partnerships and work with our alumni in Latin America through the MIT Sloan Latin America Office in Santiago, Chile. Founded in 2013, the Latin America office invites faculty from MIT to Latin America to share expertise, participate in research, and work in the region. Activities are focused on energy and sustainability, innovation and entrepreneurship, and productivity and growth.

    With oversight from the Office of International Programs, our partnerships with leading universities enhance learning opportunities and provide rich cultural experiences for students and faculty. Our partner programs build a network of management researchers and practitioners who forge meaningful connections around the world.


    MIT Sloan is one of the Global Business School Network's (GBSN) Executive Board Member Schools. In this capacity, we are actively engaged in shaping the network and play an important role in achieving GBSN's mission to build management education capacity for the developing world.
