Assistant Professor of Finance
Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School’s Finance Group is seeking one or more tenure-track faculty at the junior level, effective July 1, 2024, or as soon thereafter as possible. Outstanding senior level applicants will also be considered. We stress high research potential or achievement; faculty responsibilities include conducting original scholarly research in finance or related topics, teaching introductory finance as well as more specialized courses at the graduate and undergraduate level. Applicants must possess, or be near completion of, a PhD in Finance or a related field by the start of employment. Applications must include a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and three letters of recommendation. Please submit your application by November 15, 2023.
Employment is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory background check, including verifying any finding of misconduct (or pending investigation) from prior employers.
