Maurizio Zollo

Biography | Selected Publications

Maurizio Zollo is a Visiting Professor and a Visiting Scholar at the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Zollo is the Dean’s Chaired Professor in Strategy and Corporate Sustainability at Bocconi University, Milan, and is the director of the Center for Research in Organization and Management (CROMA). 

Zollo is the current president of the European Academy of Management. He was Associate Professor of Strategy at INSEAD, and an International Visiting Professor of Management at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. From 2004 to 2007, Zollo was an International Visiting Fellow at the Advanced Institute of Management (AIM) research program, University of Liverpool. 

He is the author of 28 academic articles, 10 managerial publications, and two books: Verso l’Impresa Responsabile (Towards the Responsible Enterprise) published by Egea, 2008, and Mergers: Leadership, Performance and Corporate Health with D. Fubini and C. Price (Palgrave Macmillan, 2006). He has also served as editor of the European Management Review.

Prior to his academic career, Zollo was a management consultant for McKinsey & Co.; an associate for Kidder, Peabody Italia; and a financial analyst for Merrill Lynch Capital Markets.

He holds a Laurea degree in economics from Bocconi University and a MSc and PhD in managerial science and applied economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
