These FAQs should answer many of the questions you have about Building the Future, including Alumni Weekend 2011. If you have additional questions, please contact or call 617-253-1557.

How and when can I register for events offered during Building the Future, including Alumni Weekend 2011?
You can register online for events through the Building the Future website. Registration will be open in early March, and we will send an email to MIT Sloan alumni notifying them when registration is open. We expect events to reach capacity quickly, and strongly recommend registering in advance.

Once I arrive on campus, when and where can I receive my Building the Future program information and/or Alumni Weekend 2011 registration packet?
Attendees can pick up their program information and/or registration packet at the central check-in station on the first floor of E62, 100 Main St., during the following days and times:

Thursday, May 12, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Friday, May 13, 7 a.m.-9 p.m.
Saturday, May 14, 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m.

Where can I stay during Building the Future, including Alumni Weekend 2011?
You can stay at a local hotel or with a local classmate. If you are staying at a hotel, please make your reservations now. Hotel blocks fill up quickly and prices escalate closer to May.

How can I look up a classmate?
You can use the Alumni Directory. While you're logged in, you can update your own information.

Does MIT Sloan provide any child care services?
MIT has partnered with Parents in a Pinch to offer babysitting services. To coordinate your child care needs, please contact Parents in a Pinch directly at 617-739-5437 and mention MIT Sloan Alumni Weekend to receive a special discounted rate.

What access is there for the disabled?
Most of the MIT campus is accessible to the disabled community, and a detailed map is available indicating all ramps, elevators and bathrooms.

What should I wear?
The general dress code for the weekend is business casual attire. However, for the Saturday night dinners, which will take place at the Sheraton Boston and will feature post-dinner dancing, you may want to change to semi-formal attire.

Can I use the athletic facilities while attending Building the Future, including Alumni Weekend 2011?
Alumni and guests registered for Alumni Weekend 2011 have access to the athletic facilities, including the new Zesiger Sports and Fitness Center. Your Alumni Weekend 2011 name badge serves as your athletic pass.
