MIT affiliates are invited to join the Sustainable Societies Research Group mailing list by signing up here with your MIT email address. Researchers share news through this list on relevant articles and resources, meetings, colloquia, research grants available, and requests for proposal.
If you are doing research in one of our focal areas and would like to connect with scholars in our community, please email us letting us know of your background and interests.
Take advantage of databases and research guides on sustainable business topics from the MIT Libraries.
We encourage scholars to participate in the Alliance for Research on Corporate Sustainability, where MIT Sloan has an institutional membership. ARCS serves as a vehicle for advancing rigorous academic research on corporate sustainability issues. ARCS provides data, tools and networking opportunities to researchers who are developing greater understanding of the opportunities and limits of policies and strategies to foster sustainable business.
The Sustainability Initiative is also a member of the Network for Business Sustainability (NBS). NBS produces authoritative resources on important sustainability issues – with the goal of shaping management practice and research. They connect thousands of researchers and professionals worldwide who are interested in corporate social responsibility (CSR) and who believe in the value of research-based practice and practice-based research.
