Daniel Tarullo: “Rethinking Financial Regulation: How We Got Here and Where We’re Going”

On April 26, 2017, GCFP Distinguished Fellow and former Fed Governor Daniel Tarullo gave a public talk on financial regulation in the United States. Before taking questions from the audience, Mr. Tarullo spoke on three themes: how the financial regulatory regime evolved prior to the financial crisis; the post-crisis regulatory response; and, looking forward, how some regulations may be pared back even while we continue to strengthen our regulatory framework.
