GCFP participates in AGA PDT, hosts reception
By
As nearly 2,000 professionals with an interest in government financial management gathered in Boston for the 2017 Professional Development Training of the Association of Government Accountants, the Golub Center was well represented throughout the week by Executive Director Doug Criscitello.
Mr. Criscitello was omnipresent, kicking off the week’s activities with the Intergovernmental Partnership Steering Committee on Sunday before preparing for his three educational panels on Monday and Tuesday. His sessions covered topics such as Data Analytics and Government Accountability, Building Trust in Government, and an annual CFO survey. Slides from the session on Building Trust in Government are available online.
Following Tuesday’s PDT sessions, the Center hosted a reception for many of the senior most AGA participants. Held at Samberg Conference Center overlooking the Charles River, the function provided guests the chance to connect with MIT faculty, staff, and students and learn more about the work of the Golub Center.
