Robert Pozen, MIT Sloan Senior Lecturer and member of the GCFP Advisory Board, writes in Market Watch that it is imperative for the government to take steps to preserve mid-sized banks.  He offers a proposal that would extend deposit insurance to these banks but in a way that limits moral hazard.
