MIT Sloan Women's Preconference Session: The World Needs You
MIT Sloan professor, author, and mentor Anjali Sastry, SB ’86, PhD ’95, will share how to address critical societal challenges using system dynamics. Pioneered at MIT Sloan, system dynamics and systems thinking offer a holistic approach that analyzes problems as part of an overall system, rather than in isolation. Using examples from the audience, this interactive workshop will showcase how operating with a systems lens can help maximize positive outcomes, and mitigate unintended consequences of the actions that we take. With a systems approach, we can begin to understand how interconnected many of the world’s greatest challenges truly are, and make a lasting change for the better.
When you join the conversation, you will have the opportunity to:
- Begin applying systems thinking to your work with tools and resources.
- Find your unique point of leverage to address the world’s greatest challenges.
- Connect with a community of likeminded leaders and problem solvers that lasts beyond the session, as we look to the year ahead.
