Hispanic Business Club

HBC

The Hispanic Business Club (HBC) is a student-led group at MIT’s Sloan School of Management that serves as a professional resource and peer network for MIT’s Latinx (domestic Latinos) community and allies. Representing a wide range of backgrounds, experiences, interests, and Latinx heritage, HBC members spearhead initiatives related to MBA admissions, alumni networking, career development, and more to advocate for and empower the Latinx community both on and off-campus.

Christina Peña’s goal is to “innovate in the sphere of education.” Mission-driven with a passion for education technology, she arrived at MIT Sloan without a background in business, excited to dive into data analytics and entrepreneurship—and even start an EdTech venture of her own.
