Undergraduate
Double Major: Course 15-2 Business Analytics + Course 6-3 Computer Science and Engineering
This roadmap is an ‘MIT student optimized’ guide for structuring your schedule. Course 15 always encourages you to choose courses based upon interest, not by whichever checks off the most boxes. Please read the footnotes for additional options, email: ugeducation@sloan.mit.edu, or come see us in E52-150 (Suite 133).

Notes:
1Course 15/6 double majors have petitioned Course 6 to count 15.276 as a substitute for 6.UAT (EECS Additional Subject). Please note, though, Course 15 will not allow the reverse substitution (6.UAT will not substitute for 15.276).
26.1200 can count as a 15-2 Restricted Elective and fulfills a requirement for 6-3.
315.312 is no longer being offered. Students who have previously taken 15.312 can substitute this course for 15.301.
418.05 can fulfill the Probability+Statistics requirement for Course 15 and is a 6-3 Math Subject. Course 15/6 double majors can also count 6.3700 to fulfill these Course 15 and Course 6 requirements.
515-2 majors taking 6.3900 to fulfill the 15-2 Machine Learning requirement are encouraged to take the prerequisite 18.06 or 18.C06. 18.06 or 18.C06 can count as a 15-2 Restricted Elective and can count as an EECS Additional Subject.
66.3900 fulfills the 15-2 Machine Learning requirement and can count as a Course 6 AI+D or EE Track Subject.
7Joint Course 15 HASS subjects, 15.0161J, can count toward the HASS requirement and also towards the minimum three Course 15 15-2 Restricted Electives.
8Please check the Course 6 website for list of subjects that fulfill each requirement bucket. Take note of level, CI-M status, prerequisites and semesters offered.
**For students considering an MEng in Course 6 and wanting to complete their MEng in one year, you may want to plan your course road with two “extra” courses that you can apply toward your MEng. If you are planning on getting funding through an RA-ship/TA-ship for your MEng, you are restricted to two courses per MEng semester. Having two “extra” courses to apply toward your MEng will allow the possibility of graduating in a year (an MEng is typically six courses plus thesis). These “extra” courses cannot be used towards fulfilling your undergraduate Course 6 requirements, GIRs, or 180 units beyond GIRs, but can count towards fulfilling your Course 15 requirements. Please see the Course 6 website for a list of eligible courses and confirm with Course 6 in advance and prior to taking a specific course if you would like that course to count toward your MEng.
